Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 278g beef, thinly sliced (9.8 oz)
  • 252g onion, diced (8.9 oz)
  • 148g sweet red pepper, large dice (5.2 oz)
  • 186g snow peas, trimmed (6.5 oz)
  • 160g broccoli stems, thinly sliced (5.6 oz)
  • 236g white mushrooms, halved (8.3 oz)
  • 227g bamboo strips, drained (8 oz)
  • 227g water chestnuts, sliced, drained (8 oz)
  • 1 tsp Mrs. Dash Herb & Garlic spice
  • 1/4 cup Mrs. Dash Teriyaki marinade*
  • 2 cups no salt added beef broth
  • 2 tbsp corn starch

Directions:

1. Put 2 tbsp oil into a large skillet or wok and place over medium high heat. When the oil is hot, add the sliced beef and stir for a couple of minutes or until the meat loses its pinkness and begins to brown.

2. Add the diced onions, peppers and broccoli stems to the wok and stir. Let the vegetables cook for about 5 minutes or until just tender, add the mushrooms, snow peas, bamboo strips and sliced water chestnuts, stir.

3. Sprinkle with the Mrs. Dash Herb & Garlic spice and add the Mrs. Dash Teriyaki marinade and stir again.

4. Mix the corn starch with the beef broth in a large measuring cup and pour over the vegetables and the meat. Continue to mix and stir until the broth begins to thicken slightly.

5. Remove from the heat. Divide the stir fry onto 4 plates and serve immediately.

6. Serve with rice or noodles. (Nutrition not included)

*there is an excellent homemade Teriyaki recipe on the website, I had the marinade so used it instead
