Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 yellow onions diced
  • 1 cup yellow corn meal
  • 2 tsp chili powder( Gebhardt has no salt in it.)
  • 2 15oz. Cans of cream corn ( no salt added)
  • 2 15oz. Cans tomato sauce (no salt added)
  • Optional-6 oz. grated cheddar cheese for topping

Directions:

Brown onions and ground beef.

Put in 9 X 13 roasting pan.

Combine cornmeal and chili powder then mix into the beef really well.

Mix in cream corn and then mix in tomato sauce.

If using the cheese, add evenly to top of pan.

Cover with foil and bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

Serves 8

Each serving with cheese is 258mg sodium.
