Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 5 sl sodium reduced bacon, cooked, chopped
  • 1 tbsp low sodium Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp salt free ketchup
  • 1 tsp dried minced onion
  • No salt seasoning (21 Salute), to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 28g shredded Swiss cheese
  • *5 large flour tortillas, homemade, low/no sodium….have not been added in to values
  • *Low sodium mustard (Westbrae), tomato slices, onion slices, shredded lettuce…have not been added in to values

Directions:

Cook the ground beef over medium-high heat in a large, non-stick skillet. Drain any grease.

To the cooked beef add the chopped bacon pieces, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, minced onion, no salt seasoning and pepper. Stir well.

Reduce heat to low and let mixture cook for about 5 minutes.

Divide the shredded Swiss on the five tortillas, sprinkling some down the center of each one.

Top the cheese with 3-4 tbsp of the beef mixture.

Roll up each tortilla like a burrito.

Cook on a preheated indoor grill or non-stick skillet for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Place on a plate and carefully unwrap the tortilla and add mustard, tomato slices, onions, lettuce or other toppings as desired.

Re-wrap the tortilla and cut the tortilla in half on the diagonal.

Serve immediately.

Makes 5 wraps, the filling for each wrap has 276 calories, 171mg sodium and 4.43g carbohydrates with the ingredients used.
